Berry Global -France and Suntex continue to monitor solutions to improve on-time deliveries as our ports surge to new highs with fully loaded container vessels. Our sustainable approach in producing 20 SKU’s of Covertan Crop Cover is to book 6 months + in advance, house inventory in our FL warehouse, then ship 53′ trailers northbound with 2-3 day service. We calculate this to be the same delivered price per item, much faster service than dealing with NE ports via 40′ containers. 5 truckloads of Covertan production are scheduled for summer 2021, as we prepare well in advance for our 25th anniversary of U.S. Covertan sales in 2022.
